  • Social Concerns Committee

    The Social Concerns Committee plans and coordinates helping hand programming within the parish and outreach efforts beyond our boundaries. This committee administers proceeds from the Edna Miller Fund for the needy. 

  • Catholics Come Home

    Catholics Come Home is a national Catholic organization seeking to invited inactive Catholics to renew their ties by returning to active participation in the worship and faith life of the church.

  • Community Table Meals

    This program provides a nutritious meal to anyone who needs it at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah. Meal times are Tuesday and Saturday from 11:30am-12:30pm. St. Gabriel provides the Saturday meal every other month. On-site preparations begin at 10:00am. Volunteers have the opportunity to prepare and deliver food as well as serving and cleanup.

  • COTS Meal

    We support the COTS meal ministry by preparing and delivering meals on the 1st Wednesday of each month to a COTS transitional shelter for homeless people in the Outagamie, Winnebago, and Calumet counties.

  • Elizabeth Ministry

    This ministry is an international movement designed to support women and families during the joys and challenges of childbirth. There are opportunities to serve as ministers that will encourage women and families during pregnancy. 

  • Fox Valley Warming Shelter

    We support the Fox Valley Warming shelter by making meals for those residing at the shelter. St. Gabriel Parish is assigned one week per year to prepare and serve meals for homeless adult men and women in our local communities. 

  • Global Outreach

    Global Outreach is a Catholic foreign exchange program that aims to build a civilization of love by welcoming students from various countries around the world. They study at mid-western Catholic high schools for a year. The Global Outreach organizations is always looking for host families. Please contact the parish to learn how to become involved. 

  • Loaves and Fishes

    This is a branch of the Fox Community Table in Appleton. Every Monday it serves folks with both food and company. The meals are prepared on-site, and planned by the chef. St. Gabriel volunteers work the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. 

  • Operation Santa Clause

    Our parish coordinates Operation Santa Clause which is a donation drive to support residents of the Winnebago Mental Health institute. Donations are accepted at the parish and delivered by us to the Winnebago Mental Health Institute. 

  • Prayer Chain

    A series of phone calls insures that prayer intentions of those wishing to be included on the Prayer Chain are offered up to God. This means that prayer chain members devote a portion of their prayer life to praying for the needs of others. 

  • Prayer Shawl Ministry

    We provide prayer shawls to parishioners unable to attend Mass due to illness, disability, and widowed. The shawls are meant to warm the body and the spirit. The prayer shawls represent the love and prayers of our parish community. We are always looking for those willing to knit or crochet for our parishioners. 

  • Project Comfort

    Project Comfort is a group of ladies that get together in Stingle Hall in the 2nd Tuesday of September-May from 1:00pm-3:00pm. All are welcome to join us!

  • Respect Life Committee

    The mission of this group is to protect LIFE from conception to natural death. Also, to educate people why the church is pro-life. Every year there is an opportunity to volunteer at the March for Life Event in Washington D.C.

  • St. Vincent De Paul Society

    The St. Vincent De Paul Society assists members of the local community who are in emergency need or crisis. This group works hand in hand with other agencies such as LEAVEN, the Red Cross, and Winnebago Department of Human Services. The SVDP store also needs volunteers with varieties of jobs and is always in need of help. 

  • The Giving Tree

    Every Christmas season we setup a tree in Stingle Hall with the toy wishes of children in our community. This is a wonderful way for us to reach out and help local children during the Christmas season.

  • Visitation/Care Ministry

    Our Parish calls the homebound, nursing, home residents, and hospitalized parishioners on a regular basis to lift their spirits and give them company. This ministry is open to adults, families, and teens that have an interest in visiting the elderly and the homebound.
