Prayers & Support For Those Impacted By The Tornado

We are deeply sorry to hear of the local devastation following the Tornado on Monday July 27.  We have all watched the storm footage and have see with our own eyes the terrible amount of damage to our neighbors and friends. Our local Parish families have been impacted and also so many other households that we are not even full aware of yet.  In this sadness, we all desire to help in some way shape or form.St. Mary St. John Facebook page says it well: As Christians, we know that faith does not spare us from life’s storms. But we also know that God never abandons us in them. He walks beside us, often through the hands and hearts of the people around us.Please continue to pray for everyone affected by the tornado. Check in on your neighbors. Offer help where you can. Support our local businesses as they begin to recover. And let us continue to be a community that reflects the love of Christ, especially when it is needed most. The road ahead may be long, but we will walk it together.May God bless all those who are hurting today. May He protect those still working to restore our community. And may the Cross that still overlooks Menasha remind us that hope is never destroyed.
Office Joe Benoit, Neenah Police Officer and a member of St. Gabriel Parish, offers us some best practices to assisting our community in a safe manner. Please watch video below.
