Pastoral Associate
St. Gabriel Catholic Parish in Neenah, Wisconsin, is committed to bringing the healing grace of the gospel to those in need. The Pastoral Associate will minister in a collaborative environment with the Pastor and Staff, and will coordinate the pastoral care of persons within the parish area, including: homebound ministry, hospital ministry, prayer services at nursing homes, funeral preparation with families, parish hospitality, and liaison roles to several groups and committees that serve the area. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. A successful candidate, in addition to being an active Catholic, will have a degree in Theology or Pastoral Care or a related field, experience in the field of pastoral ministry and care, the ability to work independently and in collaboration with others, a friendly and encouraging personality, and strong organizational and communication skills. JOB DESCRIPTION: Pastoral Associate
Faith Formation Coordinator, 7-12 & Confirmation
St. Gabriel Catholic Parish in Neenah, Wisconsin, is committed to “make disciples of all nations,” especially among our youth and within families. The Faith Formation Coordinator, 7-12 & Confirmation will minister in a collaborative environment with the Pastor and Staff and oversee the faith formation program for students in grades 7-12, including Confirmation preparation. This includes such responsibilities as: the recruitment and training of qualified catechists, the organization of a quality catechetical materials and activities, the advancement of Catholic faith practices in the home, the foster of Christian discipleship among youth, and the implementation of an effective program of sacramental preparation for Confirmation. The Coordinator also collaborates as a member of the Neenah-Menasha Catholic Youth Ministry group for about 10 hours per week. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. A successful candidate, in addition to being an active and committed Catholic, will have a Bachelor’s Degree, experience in the field of faith formation or evangelization, the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others, a creative mindset, the ability to inspire and lead, and a friendly and encouraging personality.
