Grades 7 and 8 Discipleship Formation
Edge Classes for grades 7 & 8 are held on Wednesday evenings 3 weeks per month from September through April, with the fourth week consisting of Small Group nights. In the Fall of 2024, our classes will be focused on the 7 Sacraments and learning about how we live out the grace given to us by God in our daily lives.
In addition to classes, middle school students also have the opportunity to participate in local and national mission trips. Trip details and informational meetings are available in December, with fundraising and team building opportunities January through May. Trips usually happen in June and July. High school faith formation content focuses on the Catholic Faith and how students can incorporate their faith into their day to day lives. These classes also prepare students for confirmation.

Classes for Fall 2022 are going through Venture: The Bible Timeline for High School from Ascension Press. Students should bring Bibles to class or have a Bible app available for use on their phones. Families may also want to download the Timeline Chart below for discussion and follow up at home.

The Sacrament of Confirmation – Grade 11
Confirmation is the sacrament of initiation that is meant to strengthen the relationship with Christ and the Church. Classes are provided for students and sponsors to grow their faith with the Lord.
Confirmation classes for are held on Sunday evenings three times a month from September through April following the 5:00pm Mass.
Students receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 11th grade, and completion of the 9th and 10th grade classes are a pre-requisite (excluding Catholic School students). Small Group Leaders Make ALL the Difference!
Are you called to teach students from 7th grade to High School? Just look at how much fun we have!!! We are always seeking volunteers who can lead teens and share their faith. If you have a willingness to share your own faith with students, and you’re comfortable with periodic silence (ha!) we have a place for you!!
